Pilates & Total Barre

Pilates and Total Barre are both low-impact workouts that focus on using bodyweight resistance.

The benefits are vast. Both workouts can increase overall health, leading to a better quality of life. As with any exercise, proper form is crucial.

Pilates

The Pilates method aims to increase the strength and endurance of these ‘core muscles’, to lengthen and stretch the lumbar spine, which in turn decreases the compression of the joints, which causes an alteration in the tilt of the pelvis, which can lead to low back pain.
Emerging scientific evidence confirms that Pilates can offer significant benefits to adults of all ages, including reduction in pain and improvement in flexibility, muscle strength, posture, gait, balance, range of motion, and quality of life.

Total Barre

Total Barre is a discipline that fuses ballet, Pilates and yoga from isometric exercises to tone the body (especially glutes, abdomen and legs), work on flexibility and resistance, improve our body posture and burn fat.

As its name suggests, the classic ballet barre is the main protagonist for training.
